We are a unique Shetland production company specialising in Shetland images and music, both traditional and contemporary. Based on the sunny westside of Shetland, in a seriously rural location (nearest pub is 25 miles away and it is a 50 mile round trip for the daily paper!), we endeavour to promote and create short films, dvd's and cd's about the environment where we live. Shetland is the most northerly point of the UK, an extraordinary place with few trees and much wind. Although part of Scotland, the 100 islands have a stronger relationship with their Norse neighbours than the Scots. Shetland is still a community based on the crofting and fishing industry. Unique archaeology is everywhere and we live amongst breathtaking scenery and wildlife, 24 hour daylight in the summer months and the aurora borealis, if you are lucky! |
